Thesis Option, 30 hours total: 21 credit hours of elective courses, such that at least 12 credit hours are at the 700-level, and that a maximum of 9 credit hours are in CSC 796, CSC 798, and CSC 799 combined. Students who lack background in core areas of computer science may be required to take undergraduate courses before starting graduate study and may be required to take selected graduate courses as part of their degree plans.
