Program Educational Objectives

The educational objectives of MSU’s undergraduate program in computer science for both the computer science option and the software development option are to produce graduates who will during the first several years following graduation:

• Have worked in a broad range of application areas where they have demonstrated the use of computer science skills and techniques.
• Have developed skills and knowledge in the workplace or academia through continued learning.
• Have been practicing industry professionals or have pursued academic studies or have made contributions to the profession.
• Have successfully worked with people of diverse backgrounds.
